Ranchero Mexican Restaurant in Stockbridge

I have been going here for the last 15 years every single Thursday. Food is amazing and the margaritas are incredible! I would advise a designated driver if you plan to buy a pitcher.

This is my favorite, favorite mexican restaurant. I live in south florida now but when i come home to visit family i stop here before i go anywhere. The BEST margaritas ever and the guys here are so accommodating and friendly. The food is always fresh, hot and sizzling. I recommend this place to anyone who is in the area

The food is constantly well prepared and flavorful, employees hands out awesome service. I really like how neat it is and character. Will come back again.

Hot fresh food! A lot of food for cheap. I recommend french fries and cheese dip. I get fries instead of rice. Lunch menu is super cheap.

I have been going to Ranchero for years. Best mexican restaurant around!! Once you go there a few times, they remember you. The food is always amazing and worth the price.

I brought my family here for a much needed night out. My children were spoiled rotten straight from the door with extra chips and free refills. The servers were very polite, friendly, and professional. It was very clean and organized and the food and drinks were really flavorful / and strong not watered down or sugary. We now know where to go together to just bond and enjoy some fresh food.... during a time like now I'm happy to see they are open for business and serving to go or delivery as I'm ordering now ! Lol.

Love going here whenever we are in town. The super quesadilla with shrimp, steak and chicken is what I always get and would recommend. The quest is amazing as well. You have to try it!

I will start with saying that I am not of Mexican decent, so your expectations may vary accordingly. I came here on a Wednesday around 5pm. I sat at the bar by myself, and had awesome service. I ordered Sal's Special and was presented with a huge plate of delicious food for around $10. I also had a full basket of tortilla chips and a carafe of salsa to mix and match with my meal. I then proceeded to eat myself into the most blissful food coma that I have experienced in a long long time. If I find myself visiting the southern Atlanta area in the future, I would gladly enjoy Ranchero again.

The customer service was superb and very fast. Not a lot of asking “is everything okay” but just making sure everything was okay by the food being expeditious and making sure we enjoyed our time there. It was pretty busy when we went, I got the molcajete and my boyfriend got the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. The portion was nice but the flavor could have Beene bit better, however overall it was a pleasant experience.

The food was quite good. The drinks were phenomenal. Bart, estophan and Santos did a good job. They sanitize between customers and are set up for social distancing Irma your crew is doing a great job

Do not eat here! They have a roach problem. My friend found a roach in her drink and then I saw one crawling on the wall! They refused to cover our bill and ignored that we mentioned the roach. Also they currently have an 82b rating from the health department.

The food and service is great!! This will be my go to place for Mexican nights!!! Esteban was my waiter and he did a awesome job with my order!! My peach margarita was bomb!!

Service was fast even for a very busy Friday night. These guys were making me tired watching them buzz in and out of the kitchen and yet our server was very attentive and professional. Food was very good! My wife says it's a bit spicy but reminded her of when we were in Texas so they must be doing it right. We were celebrating tonight but we will definitely be coming back, maybe on a night when they are not so crowded.

Great food and great service. Have been to mexican restaurants all over the city. Many are more expensive too. None can touch this place. I bring friends and coworkers here all the time and they say the same thing!

I've known the guys that work here more than 15 years as a regular patron. They are the most courteous hard working fun bunch that I could ever be associated with. Kudos to Bart and the crew.

The outside is small, but the inside has more than enough space. It's well maintained considering traffic (in and out as far as dining).Our server was awesome. He helped with suggestions, and ensured our meals were prepared right. The food was delicious and my cup stayed full.One of the best (strong taste not watered down) cokes I've ever had at a restaurant. You better come hungry, because the portions are more than generous. Plenty of nacho chips too!!!!!

Pretty decent place. Based on my first and only visit, I'd say service was only fair, except if the servers knew you - then, they greeted you like family. Food was good overall, and prices are reasonable. That said, the Texas Margarita I had was definitely above average. I would go again.

Really liked this place. Good customer service. The food was awesome. The Margarita, it was great. Big plates at reasonable prices. Great food quality. The only thing I would say, it was that they where short on servers. But still gave us a great service!

Overall the food was good we had a special burrito that comes with chicken or beef I ordered chicken and the server brought beef which I do not eat but he did make sure I got exactly what I order. We also ordered a quesadilla faja with chicken. The food was really good a flavorful. When you first come in they serve chips with salsa which was super good I was surprised it wasn't too spicy to was perfect. I gave it four stars because even though the food is delicious the service needs to step up I am not sure if it is due to limited staffing but we wait too long for to ask for additional items and he barely came to see if we were ok or if we needed anything. But overall I like the restaurant atmosphere the pricing is good and the food is really good.

This is my go to Mexican restaurant. I have eaten at this Location many time and never been disappointed. The food if fresh and well plated. The chips and salsa are just how I like them.The prices are right for the quality of food. That have a small bar with a large selection of tequila. They have a small out door patio. The staff is very up beat and friendly. The service is great!The only think that I don't like about this Location is the bar seating. Either the the right height or bar counter is too high. Feels like your a child sitting so low. It makes eating at the bar a little uncomfortable. Other then that the place it a great Mexican restaurant and if you like that kind of food you should definitely check them out.

Enjoy the vibe very festive large group in the back partying the Night Away. I ordered enchiladas and immediately did not like what I had ordered it took a minute but my waiter took my original order away and I ordered chicken fajitas which I was pleasantly surprise they were still sizzling and delicious they were able to turn my frown upside down.... 😊

This was my first time visiting Ranchero and it will NOT be the last. The entire experience was awesome. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the margarita was on point and the FOOD... was delicious. I’m not a fan of Mexican food but that was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I will be back and will recommend

Favorite Mexican restaurant in Stockbridge, service is always friendly and fast. Drinks are spot on and they make this dish I love which is consistently great. Just be ready to with for a table on the weekend because it's always packed.

Never had a bad experience. All male wait staff. They are very nice and appreciative of your business. Nice for lunch or late night. They have a bar and patio. They also have a speaker that you can play your music on blue tooth. This is my go to spot for mexican food and a good margarita. After Covid, I recommend keeping your party small because of the limited seating.

My family and I frequent this place. We love the food (pretty standard Mexican food, nothing fancy) and always have great service. The margaritas are good also.

Good food and drinks. My complaints are I did not receive a greeting or no words said at all when I walk in standing at register needing a menu to place my order. Then the waiter got an attitude when I ask for more queso which I paid for. The bartender end up getting it for me. That's ridiculous. Enjoyed the bartender and other friendly customers at the bar.

We stopped for a quick dinner and drinks before visiting family the night before thanksgiving. I’ve also been going to this place with family since I was a kid. Always friendly staff and quick service no matter how busy. In adulthood, I’ve also learned they make a mean, strong margarita!

Look at margarita sizes before you go in there ob valentines day and say 'i want a BIG margarita!' Prices are fine but sizes are HUUUGE! been coming here about 3 years. The service is great and the place is authentic and richly decorated!

I used to love this place, now not so much. Their prices have doubled. They must think they are high-end. Service has gone downhill, food is just okay. I no longer make a special trip here like I used to. Just closer than Monterey.
